Driver side door lock doesn t work

 · When you lock the doors via the fob or the switch on the door, the passenger side door locks just fine, but the driver's side door does not lock. It does, however, unlock just fine via the fob or switch. Also, it locks just fine mechanically via the key.  · When I open my door it doesnt recognize it's open. I can lock and unlock the door with the remote or the passenger door but not the driver door. The switch is dead. I can lower the window so power is going to it. Drivers door will not unlock. I had the same problem and fixed it by resetting the lock. Turn the ignition key to one notch before start position. press unlock button on center console three times. Hold down and try lock. Door should unlock. If this doesn't work you should look on the internet for instructions.
